Welcome to Home Move Man. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
- Services Provided
Home Move Man offers local and long-distance moving services, including but not limited to:
- Residential moves
- Packing and unpacking
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly
- Loading, transportation, and unloading
- Specialty or single-item moving
All services are subject to availability and confirmed through written or verbal agreement.
- Booking & Payments
- A quote will be provided based on the details you supply. This quote may be adjusted if actual conditions vary (e.g., additional items or unlisted services).
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
- Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, or other approved digital methods.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding your move
- Be available or designate a representative at both pickup and delivery locations
- Ensure items are packed securely (unless packing service is included)
- Inform us of any particularly fragile, valuable, or heavy items in advance
- Comply with local building or parking restrictions affecting access
- Limitations & Liability
- Home Move Man is not liable for damage to items we did not pack.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, or other events beyond our control.
- Claims for lost or damaged items must be reported in writing within 7 days of the move.
- Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the amount specified in our insurance coverage, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Prohibited Items
The following items may not be transported under any circumstances:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids, explosives)
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Perishable food or live animals
- Personal valuables (e.g., cash, jewelry, important documents)
- Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The work environment is unsafe or hazardous
- The items to be moved violate these terms
- There is abusive or threatening behavior toward our staff
- Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to:
- Post false or misleading information
- Attempt to breach website security
- Use our content without permission
All content on the website is the property of Home Move Man and may not be reused without written consent.
- Modifications to Terms
Home Move Man may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of any changes.
